Day 33: Kirk Creek to Morrow Bay, 67 miles

This is your captain speaking,
Today’s flight will be subject to dense fog for approximately 57 out of 67 miles

Except as we climb up to 900 feet, yielding the splendid view above the clouds
And for a moment, fly through Harmony, located inland 3 miles or so

But at that point, don’t get too used to the blue skies and warm sun
For we soon will return to the fogbank
Landing after dark in the deep eucalyptus grove at Morrow Bay campground

Enjoy your flight, dress warmly and weatherproof
Tomorrow will be a sunnier day

But don’t quote me on that…
