Day 29: Monterey to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, 34 miles

Cycling down mountain roads is a thrill, add coastal views and I think it is the closest thing to flying that an earth-bound creature can experience.
The scenery along the Big Sur coast of Monterey County is stunning.  Today’s weather, among the best for cycling: cool, clear, with a good south wind to blow me along the flat stretch near Point Sur Light. What a ride!

(This is an early post using wifi at the Big Sur River Inn.  I couldn’t wait to upload my descent south of the Bixby Bridge, one of my best cycling videos yet.  But turn down your volume, the wind makes a terrible noise!  Enjoy your flight…)
