Snow dazed

First real winter weather this weekend. Just an inch or so, yet the flocking white snow transforms the gray bleak landscape into a magical canvas of contrasting soft forms and sharp edges.

Fun to spend time shooting our little bridge over the Mary’s River, though I plan to send ODOT that rust shot with a note attached “Paint Me!”

No cycling for me until the ice melts. But the warm spa and sauna at Timberhill keep me in health and happiness. For some reason I can’t get thrilled about the stationary bikes there. Motion is so important, and laps in the saline pool will get me going again.
