Getting the restaurant ready for my extended absence was no small feat. I ended up coming home at 11pm and worked to pack up and load the bike until 3am. Didn‘t get much sleep, wanting to leave at 7am.
My buddy Bruce joined me for the first two days. It was great to have an escort – he‘s a mondo biker and great at keeping the pace.
